Myth of Valderit is a psychological horror experience set in the cursed village of Valderit, inspired by the abandoned Catalan village of La Mussara. You wake up as Nil, separated from your friends Julia and Enric, and soon uncover the dark secrets lurking within the village…

This single-player, first-person experience combines exploration, survival, and puzzle-solving. Nil must endure and remain alive, evading the fanatical devotees of an unimaginable entity.

To advance in the story and uncover the dark truths of Valderit, you will face twisted and challenging puzzles. Each puzzle is carefully designed to test your logic, observation, and problem-solving skills, while revealing new layers of the village’s sinister secrets. 

The Writer is an omniscient presence that observes every player and reshapes the world around them. Its Adaptive Horror System analyzes behavior in real-time, dynamically altering level design, atmosphere, music, and scares to bring out each player’s deepest fears.

Player reactions dynamically transition the game between distinct survival states, making every encounter personal and unpredictable. 

It also manipulates perception through a Madness mechanic inspired by Lovecraftian horror, warping reality itself. Shadows twist, sounds deceive, and the environment constantly shifts, heightening psychological tension and creating a nightmare unique to each individual.

In this world, The Writer does not just tell the story, it becomes the story, and every player must navigate the fear it writes around them.

A Lovecraftian-inspired narrative takes you on a journey with a group of friends that begins in the forest near Valderit. After a few beers, the friends go to sleep…

In the blink of an eye, Nil is thrown back in time to 1693. There, he discovers the old church, a cursed town with its houses and catacombs, and a dense, oppressive atmosphere that reveals the darker side of reality.

Shadows whisper, rituals leave disturbing traces, and an ancient presence watches Nil’s every move, intent on eroding his mind until resistance gives way to devotion... In this journey, you must decide whether to flee, confront the unknown, or even sacrifice yourself…
