Why Early Access?

“Investment Fund Game is a systems-heavy strategy/simulation. Balancing markets, AI behaviors, and UX for portfolio management benefits hugely from real player feedback. Early Access lets us discover what players actually enjoy, double-down on what’s fun, cut what isn’t, and tune the experience for genuine enjoyment—while we validate the core loop (markets → decisions → results) and improve usability based on real play.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our goal is 6–12 months. We’ll ship regular updates (roughly every 3–6 weeks) and leave EA once core systems are stable, content is complete, and player feedback is addressed.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to keep developing Alpha Fund Manager throughout Early Access and aim to expand and polish it for 1.0. Our current goals (subject to change) include:

- Ongoing balance passes across markets, AI behaviors, risk/reward, and pacing.
- Optimization work targeting better performance and stability (e.g., CPU/RAM usage, load times, chart rendering, UI responsiveness, accessibility).
- Additional features and content informed by player feedback and votes during EA.
- Possible feature areas we’re exploring: additional markets, deeper analytics, more fund management, Steam achievements and more languages.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“EA will launch with a playable, content-rich core:
- Markets & data: global dashboard (indices, commodities, fear vs greed, heatmap, economic calendar), live news feed with filters.
- Portfolio & trading: stocks, bonds, commodities; market & limit orders; key portfolio metrics and charts.
- Reports & learning: company overview + analysis reports; foundational risk/return stats.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to set a fair price for EA and increase it modestly for 1.0 to reflect added content and polish. Early adopters get the best value.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Discord & Steam forums: open feedback, AMAs, features Overview/Roadmap, voting on feature requests.
