A world in decline. A hunt begins.

Escaped yokai are wreaking havoc in a world in decline. As Kagari, a newly appointed Spirit Slayer, take up the wanted list and set out on your first hunt.

Meet Kagari.

Your journey begins in Ashus’s hall, where you cross swords with the previous Spirit Slayer. Track Elysia through a city overrun by zombies and claim your first Yokai Soul. Each hunt takes you further from home—and closer to the truth behind your mission.

Time your attack to meet an enemy’s blow, then link sword strikes into aerial combos. Earn resources through combat and exploration to unlock more skills.

Read the boss. Break through.

Face multi-phase bosses, learn their patterns, and turn each opening into your next attack.

Claim a powerful yokai’s soul and manifest parts of its form to gain new combat and movement abilities.

Choose your hunting ground.

Choose the order of six hunts across two regions. Pursue Mitya among the Sea of Clouds’ floating islands, descend into the Lava Cavern, and explore the Forest of Winds. Beyond them await the Silver Dragon Summit, Black Dragon Lair and Vampire Castle.

From the prologue through Chapter Three, follow Kagari’s first hunt to its conclusion. Return to Ashus’s hall with the souls you have gathered, uncover the truth behind your mission and face your final challenge.
