The Community That Grows Beyond You

Village of The Ages puts you in charge of a community that evolves alongside human history.

Start by dragging villagers to tasks and watching them obediently follow your commands. Build homes, assign jobs, manage resources. Early on, your people trust you completely and do whatever you ask.

But people grow. They learn. They change.

Slowly, you'll notice your villagers developing quirks and preferences. The villager you assigned to farming keeps wandering toward the workshop. Two villagers who used to be strangers are now inseparable friends. Someone starts questioning your decisions in ways that surprise you.

Then comes the first time someone says "no."

Maybe it's your most reliable worker suddenly refusing their usual job, or a group banding together to oppose a decision they think is wrong. Your once-predictable village becomes a web of relationships, ambitions, and conflicts that you can influence but never fully control.

Evolution Through the Ages

Unlock new tools and systems as you progress, from education that reveals villager traits to psychology that helps you understand their motivations. Guide your community through multiple historical eras, each bringing new technologies, challenges, and social dynamics.

Every choice you make shapes not just your village's development, but how your people see the world. Success means learning to work with your people rather than simply commanding them.

Every Village Tells a Different Story

Discover their personalities through education systems, navigate the relationships they build, and find creative ways to influence a community that's becoming increasingly independent. No two villages develop the same way - your story will be uniquely yours.

Some things can't be controlled.

Ready to discover what happens when a village grows beyond its creator?
