About This Game

Some truths were never meant to be buried.

Step into the boots of a 19th-century archaeologist and travel to an alternate 1850s Mesopotamia — a world where the great sites of ancient history are still lost, waiting to be found. Every relic holds a secret. Every inscription hides a story no one has read in thousands of years.

There are no waypoints here, and no one will tell you the answer. You explore, you dig, you record — and the meaning of what you find is something you have to piece together yourself. Silence of the Truth: Origins is a slow-paced, atmospheric puzzle-adventure built on real archaeological method, not shortcuts.

Bring your finds back to your desk. Clean them, compare them, cross-reference symbols and materials against everything you've catalogued so far. A deduction board lets you connect artifacts by hand — string by string — until scattered fragments start forming a single, undeniable picture.

Not every clue is where you'd expect it. Some truths are hidden in plain sight, visible only if you know how to look — literally.

There are no enemies. No combat. Only exploration, deduction, and the quiet weight of history. As you examine tablets, tools, and relics from a lost world, you'll uncover connections that don't just complete your notebook — they rewrite what you thought you knew. Not every discovery can be measured in gold or glory.

Key Features

Authentic Archaeological Investigation — real historical sites reimagined as fully explorable, playable worlds

  • Expedition & Discovery — travel through untamed landscapes, uncover dig sites, and solve hand-crafted environmental puzzles to reach buried ruins

  • Parallax Shift Cartography — chart unmapped terrain using the same parallax method period surveyors relied on: shift your position between two points and triangulate the distance between them.

  • Excavation & Preservation — carefully unearth artifacts, clean and catalog them for transport back to your institute

  • Artifact Restoration — piece broken relics back together by hand, recovering details time tried to erase

  • Linguistic Discovery — decode genuine ancient scripts to uncover lost knowledge

  • Artifact Interpretation — analyze excavated objects to deduce their origin, cultural period, and purpose — from pottery and tools to masks and ritual relics

  • The Deduction Board — physically connect clues, artifacts, and hypotheses to uncover the truth

  • Research & Reporting — document findings in your notebook, form hypotheses, and publish academic reports for your institute

  • A Grounded Mystery — no monsters, only traces of humanity, brought to life with stunning HDRP visuals in Unity 6

Built solo, by hand — from concept to code to every stone in every ruin. Silence of the Truth: Origins draws on real fieldwork experience from an actual excavation in İzmir, Turkey, and years of research into ancient Mesopotamia.
