About This Game

Introduction:

"Isekai HKV" is a 2D top-down pixel-style Roguelike game themed around Hong Kong Vtubers crossing into another world, inspired by "Dead Cells," "Vampire Survivors," and "Holocure."

Players will take on the role of the hero "DD," entering a forest filled with spatial distortions,

fighting alongside companions against endless waves of enemies and defeating the demon lord.

Story:

The Vtubers have been affected by mysterious forces, transforming them all into brainwashed powerful demon lord lieutenants (Bosses).

As the hero "DD," players need to challenge these Bosses one by one and rescue them.

When a Boss's brainwashing is lifted, they not only become the player's companion to fight alongside them, but players can also use their powers to battle the demon lord!

However, this twisted forest continuously attracts connection points from various different worlds, causing constant interdimensional invasion events in this forest.

But it is precisely because of this that the hero "DD" can bypass the demon lord army's multiple defensive networks at the fastest speed and directly challenge their lieutenants (Vtubers)!

Gameplay:

The player character attacks automatically, while players are responsible for movement and dodging attacks (Space) and optimizing damage output.

Defeating enemies grants experience points, and upon leveling up, players can choose to enhance weapons, skills, or companion abilities.

Each companion has unique attacks and skills that influence tactical choices.

The companion system is core - players can defeat Bosses (Vtubers) to recruit them as AI teammates to enter levels together!

In each level, players enhance their own or their companions' power through leveling up to handle later enemy swarms.

Interdimensional invasion events provide various different terrain effects and modes, such as occupying specific areas within a time limit to activate magic towers, triggering terrain relics to summon monsters or Bosses from other worlds.

Interdimensional invasions will spawn at random locations at specific times during levels, adding unpredictability and testing real-time decision-making.

Players need to continuously explore the map to discover these areas, and successfully completing invasion events will grant additional rewards or abilities.

PS:

In VTuber culture, DD is a very common term that comes from the Japanese phrase "誰でも大好き" (Daredemo Daisuki), which means "love everyone." Simply put, DD is used to describe fans who like many different VTubers, rather than focusing their support on just one VTuber.
