Massive multiplayer slasher combat, reduced to circles and sticks. Directional swings, real parries, two hits to die...and 60+ other blobs in the lobby trying to kill you first. Everything that doesn't sharpen the fight has been cut.

Win the read, win the fight. Lose it and you'll spend the next few seconds wondering whether you should have parried, stepped back, or just thrown your sword like a coward.
