Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development. Learn more

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Clingy is built around fast-paced co-op physics gameplay that thrives on player creativity, teamwork, and experimentation. Because the core fun of Clingy comes from how players interact with each other and the environment, community feedback is critical to refining its balance, controls, and mechanics.

Early Access gives us the chance to:

Fine-tune multiplayer physics — Magnet mechanics, player launching, and environmental interactions are complex in Unreal Engine. Testing them with a larger player base ensures smoother, more consistent gameplay across systems and network conditions.

Expand content based on feedback — We want to hear what types of levels, challenges, and obstacles players enjoy most before finalizing the full campaign and co-op modes.

Polish progression and customization — Early players will help shape unlockable cosmetics, challenge modes, and quality-of-life improvements.

Build a strong community early — Clingy is at its best when players work (and laugh) together. We want our community to grow with the game and directly influence its evolution.

Our goal with Early Access is to make Clingy as fun, stable, and replayable as possible — guided by the players who love it most.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Clingy to remain in Early Access for about 8–12 months. This window gives us time to expand content, polish multiplayer performance, and integrate player feedback on physics, puzzles, and level design.

However, because Clingy relies heavily on player testing and iteration, we’ll stay in Early Access as long as needed to make sure the experience feels smooth, fun, and complete. If the community requests major new features or modes, that timeline may extend slightly — but we’ll keep players updated throughout development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Clingy focuses on the core multiplayer experience — the magnet-based movement, co-op platforming, and physics systems that define the game’s identity.

As development continues, the full version is planned to expand in several key areas:

More Levels & Worlds – A wider variety of environments with new platforming challenges, hazards, and cooperative puzzles.

Expanded Magnet Mechanics – Additional magnet-based interactions, including new surface types, throwable objects, and environmental tools.

Character Customization – Unlockable cosmetic parts and skins so players can personalize their robots.

Progression & Challenge Modes – Optional time trials, achievements, and advanced co-op stages for replayability.

Polish & Performance – Refined physics synchronization, improved multiplayer stability, and controller support updates.

Our main goal is to take what players enjoy most during Early Access and build on it, shaping Clingy into a fun, stable, and highly replayable co-op adventure.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Clingy includes the complete core gameplay loop and is fully playable in both single-player and 2–4 player online co-op. Players can grab, launch, swing, and stick together using the magnet mechanics that define the game’s identity.

Key features currently available:

Core Magnet Physics System – Push, pull, and launch with fully networked multiplayer support.

Playable Demo Worlds – A curated set of handcrafted levels showcasing cooperative puzzles, environmental hazards, and traversal challenges.

Character Control & Interaction – Refined movement, climbing, and magnet targeting designed for smooth controller and keyboard play.

Multiplayer Lobbies – Join friends or find other players to test teamwork, timing, and chaos.

Early Visual & Audio Design – Stylized environments, ambient soundscapes, and the initial soundtrack theme.

The Early Access build is stable and fun to play, but we’re actively refining physics replication, optimizing performance, and expanding level variety based on community input.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes — we plan to gradually increase the price as Clingy grows throughout Early Access.

Early supporters will receive the game at a lower introductory price while helping shape its direction and testing new features. As we add more levels, mechanics, and content, the price will be adjusted to reflect the expanded scope and polish of the full release.

Our goal is to reward early players for joining the journey while keeping the final version fairly priced for its content and quality.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Player feedback will be at the heart of Clingy’s development. The game’s physics-driven co-op design means no two players interact with the world in quite the same way — and your experiences will directly guide how we balance, expand, and polish the game.

We plan to involve the community through:

Steam Discussions & Discord – Players can share feedback, report bugs, suggest level ideas, or showcase creative gameplay moments.

Regular Updates & Playtests – Each major update will include notes outlining what changed, what’s next, and where we’d love more input.

Feature Polls & Feedback Threads – We’ll host periodic polls to help prioritize new mechanics, cosmetics, and quality-of-life improvements.

Active Developer Presence – The dev team will be visible, responsive, and transparent throughout development, with open channels for discussion.

Our goal is to make Clingy a community-built co-op experience where your feedback truly shapes the final game.”

About This Game

Clingy is a chaotic co-op physics platformer where magnetic bonds are both your lifeline and your greatest challenge. You and your friends have crash-landed on a shattered moon, and the only way home is to cling together—literally. Bound by magnetic forces, you’ll swing, pull, and launch one another through treacherous landscapes, derelict space stations, and low-gravity chasms in a desperate race for escape.

Every movement is shared. Pull a teammate toward safety, and they might pull you off a ledge. Vault across a gap, and you might send your friend spinning into orbit. The magnetic tether is both tool and trap, turning every jump, swing, and climb into a test of coordination, timing, and trust.

From slippery ice caverns to unstable asteroid fields, each level demands cooperation to survive. Communication is key—shout, strategize, and improvise your way through shifting terrain and unpredictable physics. Mistakes are inevitable, but so are the laughs when your perfect plan goes flying out the airlock.

Built for online or local multiplayer, Clingy is perfect for friends who want to race, stumble, and scramble toward a shared finish line. It’s fast, frantic, and unforgettable—a cosmic obstacle course where teamwork isn’t just encouraged, it’s the only way forward.

Cling tight. Fling far. Escape together.
