What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We're launching in Early Access to involve the community in the development process and to gather valuable feedback as we refine and expand the game. While the current version includes core features and gameplay systems, we're actively working on adding new content, improving balance, and polishing the overall experience. Early Access players will help shape the game's direction, and we’re excited to build this together”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to keep Ash Survival in Early Access for approximately 12 to 24 months. This timeline gives us the flexibility to expand core systems, refine balance, introduce additional content, and respond to player feedback. Our goal is to develop a polished and feature-rich experience before considering a full release, though this may change depending on how development progresses.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version of Ash Survival to include a number of expanded features and improvements based on player feedback and development goals. These may include:

Vehicle repair systems – We’re exploring systems that allow players to maintain and repair bikes and cars

Voice chat – We plan to add in-game voice communication alongside text chat

Expanded map – Currently, about 1/4 of the island is available. We aim to open more of the island over time

Animal ecosystem – We’re considering features like animal hunting behavior, taming, and breeding

Additional content – Including new items, crafting options, base defenses, and wildlife encounters

Ongoing polish – As development continues, we plan to improve performance, fix bugs, and refine the user experience

Please note that these features are subject to change and depend on development priorities and community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Ash Survive includes all core survival mechanics and a solid gameplay foundation. You can:

Explore about 1/4 of the island

Scavenge buildings and natural areas for loot

Use vehicles (with fuel and damage systems)

Build powered bases, farm, and craft

Face aggressive wildlife and survive dynamic weather

Use vending machines and turrets to trade and defend

Communicate via in-game text chat

The game is playable solo or with others, but it’s still in active development. You may encounter bugs, missing polish, or incomplete features. Systems like vehicle repair, voice chat, and the animal ecosystem (breeding, taming, AI behavior) are planned but not yet implemented.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we plan to gradually increase the price as we add more content, features, and improvements during development. Early Access players will get the game at a lower price and help shape its future through feedback and testing.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We believe community feedback is essential to making Ash Survival the best it can be. Here’s how we’re involving you:

We’ll host regular Q&A sessions, share development progress, and gather feedback on new features. We also encourage players to report bugs and share suggestions to help us prioritize fixes and improvements. As development continues, we’ll keep the community informed with updates, patch notes, and opportunities to playtest new content.”

About This Game

Survive. Build. Ride. Trade. Defend.

Ash Survival is an open-world survival game set on a remote island covered in dense forests, abandoned buildings, and scattered resources. Scavenge for supplies, build a secure base, grow your own food, and defend what’s yours.

Explore the island to discover lootable houses, usable vehicles, and valuable natural resources. Use bikes and cars to travel faster—but be careful: each vehicle has a damage and fuel system, so driving comes at a cost. There’s no fixing them—use them wisely or lose them.

The island is not safe—aggressive animals roam the wild and won’t hesitate to attack. Survive harsh weather conditions, manage your body temperature, and adapt to a dynamic day and night cycle that affects visibility and danger. Eat and drink with animated food and water systems that keep your character alive and healthy.

Build a base powered by generators, set up player-run vending machines to trade with others, and deploy automated turrets to keep your home secure. Whether you're farming to survive or building to dominate, your strategy is your story.

Key Features:

  • Open-world island survival – Explore, loot, and survive on a dangerous forested island.

  • Dynamic weather and day/night cycle – Adapt to storms, sunlight, and darkness.

  • Body temperature system – Stay warm, stay cool, and survive harsh environments.

  • Vehicles with damage and fuel systems – Use bikes and cars to travel, manage fuel and damage.

  • Base building with power – Construct your own home, wire up power, and place defenses.

  • Aggressive wildlife – Face dangerous animals that can hunt or ambush you.

  • Farming system – Grow food to stay alive or profit from harvests.

  • Animated food and drink – Stay fed and hydrated with immersive, animated consumption.

  • In-game text chat – Communicate with other players in real time.

  • Vending machines – Sell your items to other players in a live economy.

  • Turret defence – Automate your base’s protection.

  • Gathering and crafting – Mine rocks, chop trees, collect plants, and craft gear.

Survive the island your way—solo or with others—in a game where the environment, weather, wildlife, and other players can be your greatest threat… or your best ally.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

This game contains mature content not suitable for all audiences. It includes frequent depictions of realistic violence, blood, and death. Players may engage in combat resulting in visible injury, killing, and exposure to corpses. Some scenes include grotesque or disturbing violence.

The game also features drug and alcohol use. The player character can consume alcohol (causing visual distortion) and use injectable substances for healing. Hemp can be grown and traded between players. These depictions are stylized but resemble real-world substance use.

Characters may appear in underwear or revealing clothing, but there is no nudity, sexual activity, or sexual violence present.

Online interactions are present, including global text chat, and may expose players to unmoderated user-generated content.
