„We’re releasing We Build Below in Early Access because this game is built on emergent gameplay and player-driven strategy.

We aim to have a good base of interesting machines, biomes characters and more on early access release, but We Build Below is designed to evolve through player experimentation. We believe that the best decisions around balancing, progression, and biome variety come from real-world feedback.“

„Our goal is to add more content such as machine, biomes, characters, NPC's or new parasites. We plan to expand on the core gameplay by adding interesting mechanics that will provide new challenges for veteran players and make the game more appealing for new players.“

V jaké fázi vývoje se hra nachází?

„In its current early access state the game includes a good amount of different biomes each with their own vegetation, ores and fluids. The game already has a solid foundation of machines and upgrades to ensure replayability.

The early access version also has both multiplayer and singleplayer gameplay. Players are able to play together via the Steam friend system.

Players can experience the combat, factory building and exploration mechanics as they are intended in the full release. Albeit with less content. “

Informace o hře

We Build Below is a roguelike factory building game for 1-4 players. Think automation game but in a roguelike formula with a deep dive into tower defense elements! The game focuses on strategic decision making, adaptability and risk & reward.

Choose your character and preferred color. Each character will provide a unique perspective on how to play this game. Together with your friends you can make the perfect team for the job.

Build your factory deep underground on an alien planet with many unique biomes, each holding valuable, rare resources to mine. Your task is to collect, process and ship enough resources each day to meet the quota.

Defend your machines as they will produce a lot of nasty pollution that attracts dangerous parasites trying to sneak into the shipment. You can defeat these parasites using your characters weapons & tools or by placing turrets that will automatically defend your factory from the parasites.

Explore many unique biomes all procedurally generated and filled with mysteries and riches. No two playthroughs are the same and you’ll always have something new to discover.
