What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are confident the core loop of Mind Biotics is tense, chaotic, and fun with friends. However, we believe the game's potential is much greater. We need your feedback to expand on the best ideas and shape the future content to insure maximum replayability.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“A period of 6 to 12 months. This will allow us to integrate community feedback and add the plenty of content we have planned.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We are planning to add a great variety to robotic devices for inhabiting, more terrifying enemies to encounter, and more planets with unique facilities to explore. We also plan to expand the progression with an upgrade system, and implement an interactive player lobby on the central station.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We believe this version is playable for up to 4 players. The current version includes:
- Four planets to explore with their own unique visuals, music and atmosphere.
- Three completely different versions of the facility with their own procedure generation.
- A variety of terrifying enemies lurking in facilities.
- The complete mind-chips revival system with a variety of random electric devices to inhabit.
- A list of objectives for players to complete every game, including side-objectives and puzzles.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We don't plan to change the price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Your feedback is crucial. We want to actively monitor discussions on our official Discord server and Steam Community forums. We will also plan to participate in discussions of new ideas with our community.”

About This Game

You are a remote contractor for The Corporation. Your physical body is safe on a central station, but your consciousness is transferred into a robotic shell on a derelict colony planet. Your objective is to search abandoned facilities for Biolits - valuable robot parts and data-rich hardware. Restore power to escape, establish data transmission and get your team to the shuttle alive.

If your shell gets smashed, you're not done. Your teammates can extract your mind-chip and plug it into whatever is lying around. One minute you are a perfect biorobot, the next minute you become a talking kettle. Adapt and overcome. Or just be a very useful kettle.

Stick close and use proximity chat to coordinate. Solve puzzles and carry biolits. The planet's dangers become more active the more you are there. And don't forget to grab your friend's mind-chip before it gets stomped on.

The facilities are falling apart, and the inhabitants... aren't gone. They're twisted, mechanical, and merciless. They stalk the dark hallways and always listen. You are an error in their system and they are the solution.

Your mind is The Company's property. Make sure you can bring it back.
