About This Game

Room 413 is a first-person psychological horror experience set in the decaying halls of the Silver Pines Motel, where reality bends, memories lie, and the truth is more dangerous than the dark. On a storm-soaked night, you check into Room 413 to investigate a decades-old case, but the motel has other plans. What begins as a search for answers spirals into a descent through shifting rooms, impossible hallways, and memories that may not be your own. The deeper you go, the more you’ll question what’s real — and whether you were ever just a guest.

Across multiple chapters, you’ll explore detailed environments, uncover hidden clues, and experience reality-shifting events that respond to your actions. Every object you interact with has narrative weight, from cassette tapes to handwritten notes, each revealing pieces of the motel’s sinister history. You’ll solve environmental and audio-based puzzles, search for secret passages, and navigate looping hallways that defy logic. Choice-driven gameplay allows you to shape your path, unlocking alternate events, dialogue, and multiple endings — including hidden and “corrupted” routes for players willing to dig deeper.

Core mechanics include exploration, a puzzle-focused progression system, an evolving inventory and journal to track clues and “unreliable memories,” and light-based discovery tools to reveal hidden writing and symbols. Sanity and perception effects distort visuals, audio, and gameplay as you draw closer to the truth, while tense chase and stealth sequences force you to evade hostile presences without combat. An original soundtrack of ambient drones, distorted tape recordings, and unnerving silences builds an atmosphere of constant dread, enhanced by dynamic audio cues that react to your every move, with strong replay value for alternate routes and endings.

If you check in… be ready to stay.
