About This Game

The Almagest Anomalies is a short Anomaly Finding game inspired by the Japanese game Exit 8.

A top secret laboratory was constructed below some forgotten town at the beginning of World War Two. The lab, eventually abandoned, left behind a legacy of unethical and unspeakable experiments of the body and mind. A rogue faction in the government thought they could cross over into alternate realities, using prisoners as test subjects.

Your mission is to find this lab and confirm the existence of these parallel realities and these loops in time. Look for anomalies of any kind, an open drawer, an object misplaced or is somehow changed, any event that differs from the norm is considered an anomaly.

  • Find an Anomaly, turn around and go back the way you came to complete a loop.

  • Don’t find an Anomaly, keep moving forward, in the direction of the exit signs, to complete a loop.

  • Complete ten loops and the exit will reveal itself.

  • Make a mistake and the loop counter resets to zero!
