What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We believe the best way to build Heat n' Hit: The Blacksmith Simulator is side by side with the community. We want to give players the opportunity to experience the game from its early stages and work together to improve it. Player feedback will be essential to fine-tune mechanics, balance systems, and introduce new content. By launching in Early Access, we begin a collaborative journey where every suggestion can help shape the game toward its full potential.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our current plan is to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 months. We believe this is the time needed to develop the planned elements with the help of the community, make fine adjustments based on real player feedback, and deliver a complete, stable, and content-rich final version.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our intention is for the full version to represent a significant evolution of the current experience. We plan to expand the game's progression, including additional reputation levels that may lead to the title of legendary blacksmith, as well as the possibility of adding new materials, reagents, and unique items. We are also exploring the inclusion of new playable maps with unique biomes, more exploration options, NPCs, and main and side quests. The card collection may be expanded, and we aim to integrate end-game systems to offer new layers of challenge and gameplay depth. In addition, we seek to deliver an improved version overall, with enhancements to gameplay experience and game aesthetics, including visual and functional adjustments to the user interface, material quality, and environment design — all guided by continuous community feedback during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already offers a solid and enjoyable experience. Players can manage their own workshop, crafting weapons and performing repairs for clients of different classes and cultures, progress up to the master blacksmith level while unlocking recipes and materials, and explore multiple maps with varied main and side quests, such as the orc city and the undead city. Advanced systems are also available, such as the enchantment station, which allows for attribute upgrades, special tempering that applies magical effects to weapons, and guild mechanics, including dungeon raids that can be planned and optimized by equipping adventurers with the best gear for each challenge. All of this already makes up the playable foundation of the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan to change the price during the Early Access period. However, it is likely that the price will be adjusted upon the launch of the full version to reflect the additional content and improvements implemented by then.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will play a central role in the game’s development. We will encourage the sharing of suggestions, ideas, and constructive feedback mainly through our Steam Community Hub forums and the official Discord server. We will publish regular updates with polls and opinion surveys, always aiming to actively listen to players and maintain a transparent and participatory development cycle. We want everyone to feel they are part of the game’s evolution — not just as players, but as co-creators of this journey.”
