Why Early Access?

“Gatherlands; a gathering–crafting–adventure experience featuring islands to explore, different biomes, dungeons, and boss encounters. the core gameplay loop (resource gathering, craft, farming, npc rescue, dungeon clearing, and boss battles) is already playable. we prefer early access to gradually expand the game’s scope with community feedback. we plan to shape the balance, content sequencing, and progression speed together with the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We cannot give a definite date. we aim to remain in early access for approximately 12 months, depending on the content scope and feedback. this range may change according to development priorities.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the content and increase quality in the full release. the topics we plan to work on are:

New regions, biomes, and exploration secrets,

More quests and story content,

Improved artificial intelligence and enemy variety,

Quality of life improvements and technical/performance optimizations,

Additional features based on community requests.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Gatherlands offers a single-player, long-term experience, and those who purchase now can access the following:

60 islands: different resources, biomes, puzzles, enemies, and rescuable npcs,

Various dungeons and boss encounters (some include arena-style patterns and traps),

Extensive crafting system (progression from starting wood/iron to copper, silver, gold, diamond, and crystal equipment tiers),

Farming, animal husbandry, processing, and equipment-based power-up cycle. Ongoing work: new islands/biomes, additional dungeons, enemy variety, balance adjustments, and story progression. we plan to add this content gradually throughout the early access period.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may plan to re-evaluate pricing in line with the content scope and development status. it is possible that the price will increase as we approach the full release. we will share possible changes on the store page in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We aim to gather feedback through steam community forums and discord; share news/patch notes at regular intervals, and publish open change logs. suggestions, balance notes, and bug reports can directly influence our development priorities.”
