Why Early Access?

“I want to add more levels, spells, enemies, and gameplay features in future updates, and Early Access lets me do that with community feedback.”

“Roughly 12 months. This may change depending on player feedback and how development progresses.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to add more content, polish the existing systems, and improve overall stability based on player feedback. There may also be additional endgame elements, such as a final boss or other challenging encounters.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now, the game includes 25 spell-items, 18 non-player characters (both hostile and neutral), and 5 different world generation types.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, I don't plan to change the price after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players are encouraged to send feedback, bug reports, and suggestions via support email. I may also set up a Discord server later for easier communication.”

About This Game

Wizard's Oblation is a co-op game about cultist wizards who inhabit a hand-drawn world and worship the Bottomless Pit—within which an unimaginable horror lurks.

To avoid its wrath, the mages must offer up magical artifacts. To find them, they open portals to random, perilous locations teeming with magical creatures.

Every artifact you discover is a choice:

Cast a powerful spell, destroying the artifact.
Throw it into the Pit, receiving a sphere of pure magic you can use again and again—as long as you have mana.
Trade it to merchants for gold coins.

The Pit accepts gold coins without hesitation, too—but it gives nothing in return.

Gather enough offerings—and you’d better not find out what happens if the Pit is left hungry.
