“Our current plan is to remain in Early Access for around 8–12 months. We’re releasing content in chapters/episodes, and we want enough time to incorporate feedback, polish presentation, and ensure the later routes and endings are consistent, satisfying, and technically stable before the full launch”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We want the full version of Kayotica to be a clear expansion of Early Access in both content and polish. During Early Access, we plan to add and improve:

-More story episodes to complete the main narrative arc.
-More branching routes and endings, including deeper consequences from earlier choices.
-More cinematic moments, plus improved scene direction and transitions.
-Expanded character dynamics (relationship/flags) with more reactivity across chapters.
-UX upgrades (better UI/UX, save/load improvements, skip/log options, accessibility).”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is playable and stable, featuring the foundation of Kayotica:
-Approximately 1 hour of gameplay
-The core story opening with meaningful choices and branching outcomes.
-The main gameplay basics of a visual novel
-The game’s established tone: psychological tension, mystery progression, and character-driven conflict.
-A presentable UI/UX
-Fully animated characters
-Main music theme and sound effect”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. Our plan is to launch at a lower price during Early Access, then increase the price at full release to reflect the added content and improvements. Players who join Early Access will get the game at that earlier price while helping shape development”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is central to how we’ll refine Kayotica. We’ll be active on:
-Steam Discussions (bug reports, pacing feedback, choice clarity, suggested improvements)
-Discord/social channels for dev updates, polls, and Q&A
-Regular patch notes + roadmap updates, and targeted feedback requests (e.g., “Which branch felt most impactful?” “Where did tension drop?”)
-We’ll use player feedback to prioritize fixes and improvements—especially around story pacing, readability, route balance, and overall polish.”
