Miksi Early Access?

After working for several years in a game studio, we decided to take the leap and create something of our own. When our contracts came to an end, we saw it as an opportunity to finally work on a passion project: building a game about running a speakeasy during Prohibition.
We’re a small indie team of two programmers without the resources of a big company, and Early Access is the best way for us to grow the game together with the community. Your feedback will directly shape the features, the balance, and the atmosphere of Speakeasy Simulator.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Our goal is to stay in Early Access for 3 to 12 months. This will give us enough time to polish core features, add new content, and make sure the community’s feedback is integrated before the full release.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The Early Access version already includes the main gameplay loop: crafting your alcohol, serving customers, selling to mafia and dealing with the Police.

For full release, we plan to expand on:
* Bar Decoration & Customization
* Reputation System to unlock new stuff based on how your clientele will appreciate your service
* Attractivity System where you can decorate your bar to improve the clientele that will order drinks
* Enhanced Police AI
* More Alcohol Production lines
* Balance, Polish & Quality-of-Life Improvements

And maybe more based on your feedbacks and our ideas all along the development process

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Speakeasy Simulator already features a fully explorable neighborhood with three different stores where you can purchase everything needed to craft alcohol. At this stage, you can distill five types of alcohol. Once produced, you can either sell bottled alcohol in bulk to the mafia or serve it by the glass to local patrons. Each customer has unique preferences and will request a specific drink. A short tutorial quest helps you get started. You can also furnish and customize both your bar and distillery, placing individual pieces of furniture as you like. Meanwhile, the police patrol the neighborhood, keeping an eye out for illegal activity.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

The price will gradually increase towards full release when major milestones like big content updates justify it. Early supporters get the game at a lower price and help shape its future.

We’ll be mainly active on our Discord but also on the Steam forums. We want to hear about your ideas, what works, what doesn’t, and what new features you’d like to see. Your feedback will help us prioritize the roadmap and make Speakeasy Simulator the best experience possible.

Step into the shadows of Prohibition.

The year is 1923. Alcohol is illegal, but business keeps flowing. Behind closed doors, barrels of illicit liquor are crafted, and the law is always watching. It’s time to build your own underground operation.

In Speakeasy Simulator, you’ll manage every detail of your secret bar and distillery. Your goal is simple: produce, sell, and expand while staying one step ahead of the police.

Key Features

Produce & Distill Alcohol
Transform fruits, vegetables, cereals, and other ingredients into fine illegal spirits. Control the quantity, quality, and production flow.
Design Your Bar & Laboratory
Arrange your speakeasy and distillery to optimize production, storage, and service. A well-organized space means smoother operations and happier customers.
Sell Your Products
- In bulk to the mafia for fast cash.
- Per glass in your bar to satisfy the local clientele and earn more money.
Customer Demands Matter
Each visitor has specific expectations (type of alcohol, quantity, and quality). Meeting their needs builds reputation and profit.
Evade Police Patrols
Be careful of police patrols outside, especially at night, and try to avoid them while smuggling contraband to your local reseller.

During Early Access, we plan to expand and improve Speakeasy Simulator with:

Bar Decoration & Customization
- Add furniture, lights, and decorative elements to personalize your bar.
- Unlock new customization options by gaining reputation with your customers.
Reputation System
- Track how satisfied your clients are with your service.
- Reputation will unlock new bar and lab upgrades, special items and higher quality ingredients.
Attractivity System
- The way you decorate your bar affects which clients are attracted.
- Higher-end customers with more specific demands and deeper pockets will visit if your bar is attractive enough.
Enhanced Police AI
- More realistic patrol patterns and risk management when transporting contraband.
- Some crooked cops are well aware of your activities and will need some… compensation to look the other way.
Advanced Alcohol Production
- Expanded alcohol production methods like aging and maceration.
- Some customers may crave variety and start asking for cocktails to shake up their usual orders.
Balance, Polish & Quality-of-Life Improvements
- Continuous updates to improve gameplay, fix bugs, and enhance the player experience.

Why Early Access?

We’re a small indie team of two programmers. After our time working in a game studio, we decided to take the leap and create a game of our own.

Our resources are limited, that’s why we’re launching in Early Access: so we can grow the game together with the community.

Your feedback will directly shape the future of Speakeasy Simulator.

Current State

The game is fully playable, with a 2 to 5 hours experience depending on your playstyle. You can produce alcohol, manage your bar and lab, sell to customers or mafia, and dodge the police.

The city is thirsty. The law is watching.

This game uses generative AI to create some visual assets. Specifically, we used AI generated artwork for certain marketing materials on the Steam store (capsules, headers, and logos), as well as a limited number of in-game illustrative images. All AI generated content has been reviewed, edited, and approved by our team to ensure originality, consistency, and compliance with Steam’s content policies. The gameplay itself, core art assets, and all game systems were created directly by our team.
