Why Early Access?

“While most of the game's fundamentals are laid out, there's a substantial amount of creative content, story integration, and visual changes to be added. With Early Access, players can enjoy what's currently there and provide impactful feedback as the rest of the game's planned content is created.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Ideally, at most a year. As stated before, most of the backend is done. The biggest hurdle now is just burnout, but with consistency and routine, the game being completed in under a year from now is realistic.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release is planned to include several major regions, each with unique visuals, gear, and gameplay focus. Visual improvements are also expected over time, especially for NPCs and enemies. The goal is to deliver a more polished and complete experience, though development plans may evolve based on feedback and testing.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access as of now contains a mostly complete Labyrinths and the first couple floors of the Buried Desert and Green Valleys. The Facility will be omitted until full release for story purposes. The current version has some lore, but as of now, has no major cutscenes or plotlines.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price during Early Access is planned to stay the same. Upon leaving Early Access, the price is likely to increase to better reflect the amount of content offered.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback from socials or the Discord server will be taken into account through every step of development. Suggestions are taken to heart; stats, visuals, and progression will change based on player feedback.”

About This Game

A slow-paced, randomly generating dungeon crawler where the only source of light is you. Prioritize strength over visibility, speed over endurance, or luminescence over power; it's your call. Survival isn't guaranteed regardless.

LIGHT AURA

Channel magic into a light to guide your path. Stronger items may take, and weaker may give. The more light you emit, the more you can see, but the easier you can be found. Find a good balance to use the dark to your advantage.

ITEMS

During progression, you'll find a wide variety of items that will assist you on your journey. Swords, staffs, daggers, and bows will have their own pros and cons, and will force different playstyles. Equipment and armor items will provide buffs to certain stats, and sometimes they may grant passive abilities as well.

THE LABYRINTHS

One of the four regions. Gray and bland, and with the lack of landmarks, it's easy to get lost in. Haunted souls and rogue machines roam the place, creating a diverse but dangerous environment. Weapons are easy to find, but magic isn't well supported. The deeper you go, the darker it becomes. Something has to be down here.

THE BURIED DESERT

These ancient temples contain less machines and more organic, otherworldly beings. They're stronger, too, so come prepared. Magical items are easier to come by, but traversing the region may prove more difficult. One turn could lead to an old tomb, another to the next room, and one to a basement. There's no telling how deep these ruins go.

THE GREEN VALLEYS

Covered in uncut grass and vines hanging from the ceiling, the Green Valleys conceal sneaky traps and artificially built animals that show no mercy. The terrain is rough, creating an uneven playing field for you and your foes.

THE VILLAGE

The central safe hub for local residents, including you. Have some conversations. Learn more about your enemies, upgrade your gear, store your items, or even gamble a few of your shekels. Once your ready, the four paths surrounding the village will bring you where you need to go.
