Why Early Access?

“This is a rhythm game with unconventional mechanics. We want to use Early Access to understand if the game provides the intended player experience, if the difficulty is appropriate, and if any elements cause unintended discomfort. We also plan to identify critical bugs and localization issues through user reviews and improve them before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate that the game will be in Early Access for at least 3 months. However, the duration may be subject to change based on community feedback and the time required to improve the game's overall quality.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes content up to Chapter 4. For the full version, we are planning new chapters and similar content. We also aim to incorporate user feedback on the content up to Chapter 4. We plan to fix some bugs and improve the UX.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version of Noise Canceler is fully playable up to Chapter 4 of the Story Mode. Each new Chapter begins with an episode designed to introduce the mechanics unique to that Chapter.

This version includes a total of 14 playable music tracks, offering approximately 50 minutes of core gameplay experience to reach the current content limit.

Gameplay & Status:
Progression: Upon successful completion of an episode and viewing the rhythm game result screen, the next episode in the sequence will begin automatically.

Difficulty: All included tracks are currently available only in the Basic Difficulty setting, which is intended to provide a relatively easy and accessible experience for all players.

Known Issues: Please note that, as an Early Access title, you may encounter minor bugs and some localization errors which we are actively working to resolve for the full launch.

The features listed in the "About This" section are fully implemented in this build.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan to change the price after the full release, as the only planned content update is the addition of Chapter 5, which we do not consider to be a large-scale expansion that would justify a price increase.”

About This Game

An overtech AI earphone rhythm game that saves your heart.

Story

One day, "Milo" is chosen as a closed beta tester for the latest earbuds, "APods."

With AI that generates songs based on the wearer’s emotions,

the "APods" captivate "Milo," leading him to finally decide to confess to "Sierra"...

Gameplay

The rhythm game and its controls are very standard (ESC, Space Bar, Enter, Arrow Keys). However, for directional input or movement, we recommend placing your index fingers on the F and J keys for left and right, respectively. (This helps synchronize the sense of direction between your hands and ears.)

Content

(Early Access) The game is composed of 4 chapters, with 3-4 episodes per chapter.

Each chapter is an omnibus-style story centered around a different character.

Each episode features a single rhythm game track.

Soundtrack

The soundtrack for each chapter is composed of genres that align with the main character's preferences.

Currently Reported Issues

1. Noise Canceling and Ambient Sound modes may switch on and off intermittently depending on the wearer's emotions.

2. The more intense the wearer's emotions, the more frequently problems may occur.

3. Depending on the wearer's emotional range, the audio range may narrow or widen.

4. As the wearer's focus decreases, more power is consumed for emotion recognition.

5. If emotional deficiency is detected from the wearer, the connection may temporarily become unstable.
