About This Game

Wrongly Accused is set in a future where all past and current crime has already been solved by an A.I. known as Lucidia. Due to the government's Human Intelligence Laws, however, each crime must also be solved by human input.

You are a new recruit at the Agency of Historical Accuracy where you are tasked with investigating historical miscarriages of justice in order to exonerate the wrongly accused and bring the real perpetrators to light.

Explore each crime scene, find the evidence and use your best detective and deduction skills to work out how each crime was committed, why each crime was committed and by whom?

Along the way, you will learn more about your own time and may even uncover a conspiracy that is a lot closer to home.

Wrongly Accused is a first person, detective mystery.

  • Explore crime scenes

  • Interview suspects

  • Collect evidence

  • Examine evidence to reveal hidden secrets

  • Solve puzzles to reveal more evidence

  • Link evidence to the suspect, motive and crime

  • Complete your crime report and submit for analysis

  • Multiple endings are possible. The direction you take is up to you.

Explore crimes based on real historic events set over eight different time periods including the sinking of the Titanic, the great gold robbery and operation paperclip.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Wrongly Accused is about solving crime. Some of the crimes are minor in nature such as theft, however, others involve murder.

No acts of violence are seen or portrayed visually in the game, however, descriptions of how crimes were carried out are present. This is in the manner of any other murder mystery where the focus is on means and motive more than the act itself.

NOTE: One scenario deals with Operation Paperclip and discussions of Nazis and Nazi crimes are present.
