Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The Early Access phase is expected to last approximately 6 months to 1 year.

The actual duration will depend on development progress, player feedback, and the level of resources I am able to continuously invest.

As an indie developer, support during Early Access directly allows me to devote more time and effort to feature development, content expansion, and stability optimization.

The more players participate and provide feedback, the faster and more complete the development progress can become.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to further expand content depth and companionship experience based on the Early Access version, including but not limited to:

More interactive items and toys, offering different forms of companionship and behavioral feedback

More puppy behaviors, animations, and action patterns, making the puppy feel more natural and lively on the desktop

More dog-walking environments and selectable harness appearances, enhancing variety and personalization

Encountering other puppies during walks and gradually recording their unique stories and memories

More artwork content, along with plans for collaboration sketchbooks with artists around the world, expanding the collection and commemorative value”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already provides a complete and playable core experience.

During internal testing and public demos, I collected player feedback through questionnaires and feedback channels. Overall feedback indicates:

Most players respond positively to the core concept of desktop companionship

Average playtime remains stable, with players willing to keep the puppy as part of their daily desktop routine

Some players encounter stability issues under specific hardware or display configurations, which is currently the top optimization priority

These insights are continuously shaping update priorities during the Early Access phase.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the game is planned to be offered at a lower price during Early Access.

Players who purchase the game during Early Access will receive the full game at the purchase price and continue to receive updates until the official release.

As content becomes more complete and the game approaches full release, the price is expected to be adjusted.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“During Early Access, players are invited to participate in development through multiple channels:

Collecting structured feedback on features, experience, and direction through questionnaires and feedback forms

Providing bug reporting channels, prioritizing issues that affect gameplay experience

Posting update notes and discussing changes and plans in the Steam Community

Maintaining a Discord server for deeper discussions with core players

Monitoring player feedback and sharing on platforms such as Xiaohongshu and other social communities
