Why Early Access?

“Cascade Falls is a story-driven visual novel with branching paths, relationship systems, and layered character arcs. Early Access lets us share Chapter One with players while continuing to shape future chapters, polish, and features in response to community feedback.
We’re especially looking for input on narrative pacing, UI flow, and game mechanics. Player feedback will help guide how certain routes, systems, and quality-of-life features evolve moving forward.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Estimated 18–24 months.
We plan to release four major chapters in total, with incremental updates including new scenes, quality-of-life improvements, and additional side content between each chapter.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our current roadmap for Cascade Falls includes:

All four story chapters with full narrative arcs and multiple endings
Additional minigames, collectibles, and character-specific side content
Improved animations, transitions, and UI polish
Balancing refinements for the relationship system and in-game economy
New romance routes and optional outcomes that expand on Chapter One
While Chapter One is a complete standalone experience, we aim for the full release to weave every branch and choice into a cohesive, emotionally resonant arc.

“Chapter One of Cascade Falls is fully playable and content-complete, including core systems like branching dialogue, relationship tracking, free roam segments, and minigames.
It has over 80 unique scenes, multiple romance paths, polished animations, and a full in-game day cycle.
Work is ongoing to expand side content, refine UI, and balance player choices based on community input.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as new chapters and features are added.
Early supporters get access to all future content updates at no extra cost.
Final pricing will reflect the full scope of the game once completed.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We actively welcome feedback via Steam discussions, community polls, and Discord.
Players will help us shape romance dynamics, scene priorities, and UX improvements.
