Protocol Aegirum is a turn-based strategy game that combines the precision of chess with the tension of a roguelike. Every ship in your fleet moves like a chess piece, every decision matters, and a single defeat sends you back to the beginning.

• Chess turned into space combat: six ship classes, from the Gunboat to the Dreadnought, each with the moves of a chess piece. All the real rules are here: castling, en passant and promotion. Protect your Capital Ship at all costs.
  
• A campaign that never plays the same way twice: five sectors with route maps generated every run. Choose your path through battles, events, markets and reinforcements.
  
• Build your fleet: recover Synthite from every victory and spend it on new ships and doctrines. Deploy your ships before each battle.
  
• Doctrines that change how you play: undo a fatal move by your Capital Ship, start each sector with extra ships, earn more resources, or win the moment the enemy Capital Ship is left unprotected.

Protocol Aegirum is an independent project designed, programmed and directed by a single developer. The game design, rules, campaign system, difficulty balancing and all of the code are the developer's own work. AI tools were used as support during development: some of the visual art was generated with AI and then edited and adapted by hand to the game's style, and the translations into other languages were made with AI assistance. The music and sound effects are licensed works by human artists. The game does not generate any AI content while you play.
