What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access because Feria Fiera is a game that benefits greatly from community feedback. As a beat ‘em up, elements such as difficulty, character balance, and level design can be shaped and improved by the players themselves. Early Access allows us to:

Release a solid, playable foundation while continuing to add new content.

Gather valuable feedback to refine combat, enemy design, and overall gameplay.

Involve the community in decisions about future features and priorities.

This gives us the chance to grow the game together with the players, ensuring the final release is as fun and polished as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Feria Fiera to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 months to 1 year. This timeframe will allow us to add more levels, bosses, and features, while also refining the gameplay based on community feedback. Of course, this schedule may shift slightly depending on development progress and the level of community support.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Feria Fiera will include more content and improvements compared to Early Access. Our plans include:

Additional levels and new bosses.

Expanded roster of playable characters. ((point to consider)

Gameplay balance adjustments and quality-of-life improvements.

Polishing of art, animations, and audio.

Depending on community support, we may also consider expansions or extra content after release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Feria Fiera already includes the core gameplay systems:

Core combat: beat ‘em up style battles with single-player and local multiplayer support.

Available modes: arcade mode with several playable levels, enemy waves, and varied encounters.

Playable characters: One characters currently available, with unique abilities.

Art & animations original: completed 2D sprites and environments for the initial stages.

Audio: original soundtrack in some levels (not all) and sound effects implemented.

Controller support: Xbox controller compatibility already included.

The game is fully playable through the available stages, though we plan to keep expanding it with more characters, levels, game modes, and balance improvements.
For more details on the content currently available, please refer to the About This Game section.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The final version will also have a slightly higher price to reflect the additional content and improvements, but the increase will be modest.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will play a key role in the development of Feria Fiera. We plan to involve players in the following ways:

Direct feedback: players will be able to share suggestions on character balance, enemy difficulty, and new content ideas.

Polls and voting: we will hold periodic polls to decide which characters, modes, or features should be prioritized.

Communication channels: we will use Steam forums and [Discord/social media] as the main spaces to gather feedback and keep players updated about development progress.

In short, we want Early Access players to feel like an active part of the process, helping us shape the final experience.”

About This Game

Treh is a mouse like any other. He lives in the countryside, leaves his burrow, looks for food, and coexists with other mice, especially his little brother. One day, something unexpected disrupts their ordinary life: a large fair has set up shop in their habitat. Now, every time they leave their burrow, there are people everywhere: rides, food stalls, and screaming children. All they have to do is adapt to their new environment and look for food in the garbage left behind by the fair.

But oh no... it seems the fair isn't the only new thing around. Ringtails have arrived and, just like mice, they look for food in the piles of rubbish, only these animals don't like to share... In their first encounter, the ringtails try to steal the rubbish, but when they see the mice resist, the ringtail chief kidnaps Treh's little brother for his dinner. Treh can't allow it and runs after him to rescue his little brother, and the three of them head into the great fair where Treh will have to face even more obstacles. Will Treh be able to rescue his little brother in time?
