What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We’re releasing the game in Early Access because we’ve built the foundation—core mechanics, the sanity system, and the first levels are already playable—but there’s still a long journey ahead. We want players to be part of the process early on: your feedback will help us shape future levels, refine gameplay, and deepen the atmosphere of the Dreamlands.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the game to remain in Early Access for about a year, possibly a little longer. This timeline allows us to expand content, polish core systems, and integrate community feedback to deliver a complete and refined experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to feature more biomes, additional bosses inspired by the Outer Gods, a wider variety of weapons and sigils, and deeper progression systems. We also aim to improve visual fidelity and overall atmosphere, refining the graphics and effects to better capture the surreal horror of the Dreamlands. Along the way, we’ll continue to expand content and polish gameplay based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes a fully playable first biome with procedurally generated mazes, four unique weapons, and seven sigils that affect combat and gameplay. The core sanity system is implemented, and the first boss encounter is currently in development. The game is stable and playable, with core mechanics in place and room to grow.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play a key role in shaping the game’s development. We're especially looking for input on balance adjustments, bug reports, and which mechanics feel satisfying—or frustrating—to interact with. As we expand content and refine systems like sanity, combat, and progression, your impressions will help us understand what’s working and what needs improvement. We'll be monitoring player discussions and feedback through Steam and other available channels to guide ongoing updates and improvements.”

About This Game

Step into the Dreamlands, a parallel realm accessible only through dreams—teeming with bizarre native beings and entities long lost to the depths of nightmare. In this Lovecraftian roguelite FPS, you must navigate procedurally generated labyrinths, confront eldritch creatures, and face the ancient Outer Gods that dwell in the deepest folds of the dream.

Nightmarish loop

You always craved more. Longed for greatness. For discoveries. Until you discovered something that no man should ever witness. A deal with the Crawling Chaos put you inside a never ending nightmare, forever cursing you to roam labyrinthian halls.

Mazes of insanity

Find your way through randomly generated mazes, filled with unspeakable horrors. Exposure to the unnatural corrodes your mind. The lower your sanity, the more the world twists—distorting perception, altering mechanics, and inviting madness. Be quick and do not get lost - each second spent in the labirynth lowers how much your brain can handle.

Every run reshuffles the mazes, from enemy placements to hidden chambers and forbidden relics.

Outer Gods

The Outer Gods are a central part of Halls of Nyarlathotep. Each biome features a unique entity that lurks in the space beyond the maze and culminates in a battle with one of the Dreamlands' resident deities - vast, unknowable beings whose presence alone is enough to shatter the mind.

Tools of the Occult

Arm yourself with weapons as strange and otherworldly as the realm itself. These are no ordinary tools of war - each one is steeped in occult lore or drawn from the fevered margins of Lovecraftian horror. Wield a revolver that fires tormented souls instead of bullets, swing a blood-hungry macuahuitl that grows stronger with each enemy it tastes, or brandish the Elder Sign to ward off the twisted things that should not be.

Alongside these relics, uncover ancient Sigils—arcane spells etched in madness—that can guide your way, shield your mind, or unleash devastating power upon the creatures that hunt you.

Locations from Dreamland cycle

Visit biomes inspired by works of H.P. Lovecraft, before he brought Cthulhu into the world. Travel icy plateau of Leng with its man-eating spiders and scale the mountain of Kadath where ancient gods dwell. Pray that cats from Ulthar will help you in your journey.
