About This Game

Starnded: Gardens of the Rubellite is a third-person survival RPG set on Sara-376c — a hostile, pink-and-purple wilderness 70 light-years from Earth, and humanity’s final attempt at survival.

Before disaster struck, Earth’s nations launched one desperate mission: send a million capable people to a habitable world. With the old systems collapsing, survival became the only currency. Those who built the colony ships, cryopods, and life-support systems earned a single reward — a frozen ticket to a new world.

Your cryopod opens the moment you start the game.

Those who woke up before you began carving out a foothold.

They built camps, scavenged safe zones, and pieced together crude labs. Yet Sara-376c is nothing like the world they were promised — it’s alive, ancient, and already claimed by something far older than humanity.

🌑 Explore the Rubellite Wilderness

The Rubellite biome is a vivid, alien landscape — forests and shrubland washed in pink and purple tones, with plants that glow faintly in the dark.

Human traces: survivor camps, abandoned labs, scattered corpses, discarded gear.

Alien traces: weathered structures and carvings suggesting an intelligent civilization long gone.

⚔️ Survival Without Firearms

No guns — only movement, skill, and improvised weapons.

Craft from scavenged tech, scrap, and native resources.

Encounter creatures unlike anything on Earth — unpredictable, aggressive, and territorial.

Every fight is a choice: ambush, stalk, or flee.

🏃 Master Skill-Based Movement

  • Control the battlefield through momentum and precision:

  • Bunny hopping

  • Dash chains

  • Hover-glide mechanics

  • Physics-based traversal

  • The better you move, the longer you live.

🏗️ Build and Defend Your Claim

Construct modular bases to store resources and protect your loot.

Set up near resources or strategic points of interest.

Reclaim abandoned tech from early survivors — or take it from rivals.

👥 Your Story, Your Trust

Survive alone, ally with others, or betray them.

Multiplayer (co-op + full PvP) planned after release.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

We do use AI in our development process, but more like a helpful sidekick than a creator. It helps us think through ideas, shape the world, refine text, and occasionally polish gameplay logic when we need a fresh perspective. We also use it to generate specific sound effects — especially for things that are hard to record or just plain alien.
