Your hero fights. You build.

Chest & Blade is a dark fantasy idle RPG built on a simple loop: kill monsters, grab loot, get stronger, push deeper. Your hero swings the sword on their own — every decision that matters is yours.

Pick your hero

• The Black Knight is a walking fortress — heavy armor, steady damage, very hard to kill.
  
• The Wizard hits hard and breaks easy, until your build catches up. Then nothing survives long enough to touch him.
  
• Beaten the final act? Hero Mode restarts the climb on a much harder curve.

Loot, chests and the Forge

• Crack open Loot, Treasure and Dragon chests for gear from common all the way to mythic.
  
• Salvage what you don't need, craft what you do, and enchant your gear slots for permanent bonuses.
  
• Act bosses always drop something worth keeping the first time you take them down.

Real build depth, no busywork

• A six-branch rune tree, unlocked mostly with gold. Rare Rune Cores gate only the deepest nodes — and you can respec any time.
  
• Every few levels, pick one of three augment cards: offense, defense, economy, or something stranger.
  
• Stat points, talents, tiered achievements and hero ranks fill out the long game.

Progress that respects your time

• Earn gold and XP for up to 8 hours while you're away — tuned so going AFK never breaks the difficulty curve.
  
• Optional auto-retreat sends you back a checkpoint after repeated deaths. Off by default.
  
• Cloud saves and leaderboards included.

Two minutes or two hours

Check in briefly or settle in to theorycraft — Chest & Blade works both ways. Sharp pixel art, a grim atmosphere, and numbers that just keep going up.
