Miksi Early Access?

Sublight has already been heavily influenced by the community, both on Steam Forums and on Discord. Players have influenced everything from ship and weapon designs to major balance changes and core features. Early Access makes that collaboration official: it gives me structured time to keep building the game with the community driving development, rather than working in isolation until a "final" release.

At least 6 months. The game will receive regular updates throughout this period, with priority given to fixing issues quickly and shipping scheduled content updates on a consistent cadence.

A full development roadmap will be shared shortly after launch. The current plan includes at least 2 additional enemy factions post-launch, along with an expanded roster of playable ships, weapons, and build options, all shaped and balanced based on community feedback.

Sublight already delivers a robust, content-rich bullet heaven experience.
The Early Access launch includes 2 enemy factions spread across 6 fully finished levels, each with multiple bosses, along with 9 playable ships, over 16 weapon types, and an established set of build upgrades to customize your run.
On top of that, weekly rotating level modifiers keep every playthrough feeling fresh.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

There are currently no plans to change the price after leaving Early Access.

I'm a solo developer, and I'm active in the game's Discord daily. I also check the Steam forums regularly for bug reports and feedback. Features have been added based on community requests since day one, and that won't change in Early Access. If there's something you want to see in the game, ask for it on Discord!
