British Commandos are elite special forces units established in 1940 at the initiative of Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Their primary mission was to carry out swift, targeted raids against enemy positions in occupied Europe, as well as to participate in high-priority operations. The commandos became recognizable by their green berets and the distinctive Fairbairn–Sykes fighting knife — a narrow, double-edged blade specifically designed for close-quarters combat and silent attacks.

The troops are also equipped with the Thompson M1 (S), a suppressed variant of the iconic American M1 submachine gun, designed for stealth operations. This type of weapon was mainly used by special forces units, including sabotage teams and reconnaissance squads. The Thompson M1 (S) fires .45 ACP rounds, is fed from a 30-round magazine, and is capable of both automatic and semi-automatic fire.
