“The current Early Access version of Scrapocalypse includes all core survival gameplay systems. Players can explore a large open-world wasteland, loot containers like fridges, safes, and cookers, manage health, food, drink, and radiation, and fight off infected enemies using melee and ranged weapons. The inventory system supports item stacking, context menus.
Crafting is fully implemented through the workbench and vending machine systems, allowing players to create weapons, bandages, and other items. Radiation zones and status effects are functional, including health drain and visual UI changes. A persistent chest system allows storing gear across sessions.
The world includes multiple enemy types, interactive lore via a journal, and a working respawn system.”

Scrapocalypse is an open-world survival RPG set in a harsh post-apocalyptic desert wasteland. The year is 2150. You are a lone scavenger, covered in dust and driven by survival instinct. Roam the ruins of a decaying world, gather resources, craft tools and weapons, battle mutated and infected humans that roam the land and cities.

  • Top-down survival gameplay with real-time combat

  • Loot and scavenge from abandoned homes, safes, fridges, cookers, and more

  • Manage your survival by tracking food, drink, health, and radiation levels

  • Craft gear and weapons using collected scraps and components

  • Use vending machines to convert junk into materials or currency ("scraptokens")

  • Persistent storage system using personal chests to store gear between sessions

  • Directional melee combat and ranged gunplay with ammo management

  • Interactive journal that logs lore, items, and discoveries

  • Radiation zones and effects, including visual feedback and health deterioration

  • Early Access content includes 3 enemy types, full inventory and hotbar systems, crafting, containers, and an explorable map with environmental hazards

  • Underground labs and Bunkers find hidden underground bunkers and labs what need key cards to access and discover legendary loot inside.

  • Buy bases with Scraptokens you can buy bases with scraptokens you earn and craft from scrapping junk items in vending machines.

Lore

In 2050, a powerful corporation named ShawCorp developed a miracle cure for illness—until things went horribly wrong. Weeks after release, people began turning violent, showing aggressive behavior and attacking the uninfected. The government responded with force. In a final act of desperation, nuclear warheads were deployed by ShawCorp themselves. But the radiation only made the infected stronger and more enraged.

Now, a century later, the world is buried in sand. Most structures lie in ruins. Only scattered survivors and horrific infected remain. It’s up to you to uncover what’s left—and decide if there's anything worth saving.
