About This Game

Ok, guys. Here's the deal.

This is a horror game. Yeah, I know there are a lot of them here, but hear me out.

In In Arrears (why in in sounds so stupid?), you’re stuck in a cursed corporate office where time is money, bills kill you, and the IRS literally hunts you down. You’ve got five minutes to make cash and pay off whatever new nonsense the system throws at you — rent, groceries, soul insurance, brain licensing fees, etc. Fail, and you’ll enter a panic attack stage where the screen glitches, your heart races, and you die of stress.

You don’t fight any monsters. You outrun your responsibilities.

You’ll spend your days:

  • Stealing from wallets

  • Breaking piggybanks

  • Doing annoying CRM tasks

  • Gambling everything on fake investment tips

  • Reading emails from some African princes

  • And yeah, running from IRS, like always running from IRS

The office has ten rooms, and they get weirder the longer you survive. It starts like a normal 9 to 5. Every level is 5 years of experience, with every level reality is melting, you hear and see some strange sh*t.

Anyway.

This is the first game from the studio, so any feedback is appreciated.

Also, pay your bills. Or don’t. See what happens.

P.S. I tried to generate description with ChatGPT, but it looked kinda soulless, idk. So take it as it is, hehe
