What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are a newly formed team working on our first game together, so we want to hear from our audience about what we should change and how we can deliver the best experience possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It's impossible to give an exact date for a game of this dimension.

Based on how much time the game is taking to develop, we expect it to take from 2 to 3 years.

The game is still in the works, and we are always thinking of new mechanics and new content to make the game better.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We aim to implement more content in the full version, introducing more animals, more plants, enemies, guns, collectibles, and points of interest throughout the map so the game feels bigger.

Also, we'll continue to improve optimization and fix bugs so the game runs smoothly for everyone.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version already includes the core gameplay systems and a wide range of content for players to explore:

Farming with interactive minigames throughout every stage of crop growth.
Livestock breeding featuring evolution and mutation mechanics.
Farm shops where players can purchase tools, resources, and equipment.
A trading system for selling goods produced on the farm.
Farm expansion and progression systems.
Base building and defensive structures.
Process automation through recruitable workers and employees.
RPG progression with character customization and a skill tree.
Procedurally generated mines and a complete mining system.
Enemy outposts that can be raided for valuable loot and resources.
An open world filled with activities and exploration opportunities.
Collectibles scattered throughout the world.
First-person shooter combat.
Up to 4-player cooperative multiplayer.
Drivable vehicles for exploration and transportation.

While these systems are already playable, we continue to expand the game with new content, features, balancing improvements, and quality of life updates throughout the Early Access period.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, Village 51 price will increase after the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Giving players the Early Access version means that players will experience an initial phase of the game.

It won't have all the content and will have things to improve, so we invite you to collaborate with us by giving feedback. We will hear what you have to say about the game with all our attention. Your input matters a lot for the future of Village 51.

We will be implementing periodic surveys so people who are playing the game and want to help can give direct feedback. Also, we will always have our official Discord channel active for more casual communication.”

About This Game

Village 51 is a survival and farm management game where you must build a farm from the ground up in a hostile world. During the day, you manage animals, produce resources, complete orders, and earn money to expand your village. When night falls, the threats arrive: defend your territory with weapons, structures, turrets, and workers while exploring the map in search of essential materials. Develop your skill tree, upgrade your arsenal, and survive night after night in a living world that never stops testing you.

By day, life in Village 51 moves at your own pace. Grow crops, raise animals, build your farm, trade with the locals, and turn every resource into progress. Sell what you harvest, use what you need, or invest it into upgrades that make your farm stronger and better prepared.

Retro-futuristic sci-fi atmosphere: A 50s–60s inspired rural world shaped by advanced technology, strange phenomena, and hidden conspiracy.

Farm by day, survive by night: Play at your own pace. Manage your farm calmly during the day, but be ready to defend yourself when night awakens new threats.

First-person RPG shooter gameplay: Fight enemies up close through FPS combat, upgrading your skills, weapons, and gear as the threats grow stronger.

Farming, livestock & resource management: Grow, raise, produce, and decide what every resource becomes: food, money, trade, upgrades, or survival.

Genetic variation system: Each species can develop through unique genetics, creating offspring with different traits, yields, and value.

Build your farm, expand your base: Construct buildings, unlock workstations, and expand your territory to make your farm stronger, smarter, and more prepared.

Fortify against enemy waves: Your farm is your refuge. Build fences, walls, turrets, and defenses to protect your people, resources, and everything you have built.

Recruit NPCs and grow your community: Take on villager requests, hire workers, and grow a farm that keeps running even when you are out facing the unknown.

Open world exploration: Venture beyond your farm into bunkers, mines, camps, shops, and dangerous areas filled with resources, secrets, and threats.

Loot, missions & dynamic encounters: Explore freely, find loot, complete missions, and take on unexpected challenges that make every trip beyond your farm matter.

But when night falls, the town reveals its true nature. Unknown creatures emerge, hostile factions move through the shadows, and your quiet farm becomes the first line of defense. Every choice matters, and every night could change everything.

For centuries, the Neteris guided promising civilizations from the shadows, sharing knowledge only with those ready to receive it. Humanity was not one of them.

At the height of World War II, human leaders betrayed the Neteris for geopolitical gain. They stole their technology and twisted it into the weapon that would secure victory in 1945. What was meant to guide a thriving civilization forward became the beginning of a betrayal that would come at a terrible cost.

To bury the truth, the government created Operation RISE and chose a town nearly erased from the map: remote, quiet, and perfect for hiding what they had done.

Today, the signs have returned. Strange lights cut across the sky, the ground begins to shake again, and unknown creatures move through darkness. The Neteris are back, but not to guide humanity. This time, they have come to reclaim what was taken from them.

Kevin soon discovers that the farm he inherited was never just a place to grow crops. Beneath the soil lie traces of his father, choices that should have never been made, and a debt that now ties him to the Neteris, whether he wants it or not.
