Why Early Access?

“Like any other game, Worlds of Colors grows through feedback. And the more feedback I get, the better I can make the game. That's why I want to hear from the playerbase as soon as possible so that I can make an enjoyable and bug-free experience for when the game gets fully released.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It's hard to say when the game will be in a ready state but I would guess that it would take around 2-3 years. But remember that this is a rough estimate and is based on previous experiences.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to have all 10 chapters, with each chapter being divided into separate acts containing different themed gameplay. There will also be a secret side story with a lot of bonus gameplay for the chapters to reach the end of it in the form of encore chapters which are harder versions with a contrasting theme compared to their normal counterpart. Every chapter will also contain optional collectibles as an extra challenge, along with actual challenges for every act which usually is about beating an act in a more difficult way. Lastly, some chapters will have "detours" which are optional paths that differ from the main one.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game contains finished versions of the first 3 chapters. With each chapter having its collectibles and challenges for every act.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I do not plan on changing the price as more features get rolled out.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“While the big part of the game is planned out like the story, theming and gameplay mechanics, many small but important details like individual rooms of gameplay, accessibility settings or the feel of the game isn't set in stone. That's why with the help of the community's opinions, I can figure out what I did well and what I should probably change. I will gather opinions from the steam community as well as an official discord server where I can see how people respond to individual parts to the game.”

About This Game

Worlds of Colors is a precision platformer that takes place in a completely different universe from ours. Explore the different worlds, created by god-like beings known as the Overseers. You play as an inhabitant of these worlds called Nivu, guided by one of the Overseers trying to save the universe from collapsing.
