What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are launching the game in Early Access so that we can further refine The Second Reality Room: Unspoken Truths based on player feedback before completing the story in the full release.

The Early Access version includes a substantial amount of content, covering the Prologue through Chapter 4. During Early Access, we would especially like to receive feedback on the pacing and balance of the consultations, the clarity and usability of the Talk, Mind Read, and Translate systems, the user interface, localization, and overall playability.

We plan to use this feedback to improve the chapters already included in the game and to help guide the development and presentation of the remaining chapters.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect the Early Access period to last approximately two months, with the full release targeted for late 2026.

However, this schedule may change depending on development progress and player feedback. If our plans change, we will announce the details separately.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the Prologue through Chapter 4.

The full version is planned to add Chapters 5 and 6, along with the Epilogue, bringing the main story to its conclusion. We also plan to refine and improve the content already included based on player feedback, including adjustments to gameplay balance, tutorials, the user interface, localization, and presentation.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the Prologue through Chapter 4 and offers approximately 7–9 hours of gameplay.

Players can experience the main gameplay systems—including Talk, Mind Read, and Translate—and play from the Prologue through the end of Chapter 4.

The game is available in Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. While all chapters included in the Early Access version are playable, the game’s overall story is not yet complete, and some content may be adjusted or improved during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“To thank players who support the game at an early stage, we plan to offer it at a lower price when Early Access begins.

As additional content is added and the game approaches its full release, we plan to increase the price during Early Access, prior to the full release.

Players who purchase the game during Early Access will receive the full version as an update at no additional cost. We will announce the timing of the price change in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to gather feedback from players through the Steam Community Hub, including discussions, comments, and bug reports.

We are particularly interested in feedback on the clarity of the Talk, Mind Read, and Translate systems, tutorials, the user interface, localization quality, and technical issues.

We will review feedback throughout Early Access and use it to help prioritize adjustments and improvements. Development updates and information about significant changes will be shared through Steam announcements.”

About This Game

■ Concept

Their world makes sense.
You just don’t speak their language.
Not yet.

This is an empathy-driven psychological mystery adventure about chuunibyo—teens who construct their own “reality”—and the relationships that form around them.

Through Talk, Mind Read, and Translate, you piece together what’s left unsaid and uncover the truth behind their words.

The strange behavior is real. The pain underneath it is too.

This isn’t a story that laughs it off.

Character design and illustrations by Shikimi. Music and theme song by MURASAKI, with vocals by HINAKO.

Every frame, every note—crafted to draw you in.

■ Overview

You run The Second Reality Room.

Past lives. A cursed right arm. Another self that won’t stay quiet.

These are the kinds of troubles your Visitors bring—

and to them, every one is real.

Sit with them. Listen.

Uncover the feelings buried at the heart of the “Second Reality” they believe in.

And trace the path that led them there.

It starts small.

But the circle slowly widens, drawing in those around you… until it becomes something much bigger.

If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, this story is for you.

■ Gameplay

Use three unique mechanics to uncover each Visitor’s true feelings.

  • Talk: Choose topics and gather clues from their strange, reality-defying words.

  • Mind Read: Step into the “Second Reality” only the Visitors can see, and grasp the world beyond words.

  • Translate: Put what you’ve learned together, infer what lies beneath the surface, and uncover what they truly mean.

Fail to understand them—keep making the wrong choices—and things will quietly, inevitably get worse.

What kind of “salvation” awaits when you finally get it right?

■ About the Demo

In the demo, you can play the Prologue and Chapter 1, which together cover the opening part of the story.

  • Estimated playtime is about 70-90 minutes.

  • Save data from the demo cannot be carried over to the full version.

  • Compatibility with Steam Deck has also been confirmed.

The Prologue also serves as a tutorial,

allowing you to experience all three core mechanics: Talk, Mind Read, and Translate.

We have also posted separate Streaming / Video Posting Guidelines for streamers and content creators,

so please be sure to read them before streaming or posting videos.

■ Endings

The full game consists of a Prologue, an Epilogue, and 6 main chapters.

Each chapter features both a Clear End and a Bad End, and clearing the final chapter completes the story.

Estimated playtime:

  • Early Access: Approximately 7–9 hours (through Chapter 4)

  • Full Release: Approximately 12–14 hours (through the Epilogue)

Playtime may vary depending on play style.

See where your “translation” leads.
