What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to bring players into the experiment early.
Facility 37 is designed to be replayable and community-driven. Early Access lets us observe how players behave, gather feedback, and evolve the experience based on your findings inside the facility.

Horror works best when it’s shared, and when it’s unpredictable.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to remain in Early Access for 6–12 months, depending on how development progresses and what new ideas emerge through player feedback. We’d rather release slow and right than fast and forgettable.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the core experience: task-based lab runs, dangerous entities, and a complete multiplayer experience.

The full version is planned to include:

  • More monster variants with unique behaviors
  • Additional mission objectives and task types
  • Expanded player tools and cooperative mechanics
  • Deeper environmental storytelling across more levels of Facility 37

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is a complete, functional multiplayer horror experience. Players can:

  • Team up and infiltrate dangerous floors of Facility 37
  • Complete mission objectives and log findings
  • Mark and report irregularities
  • Evade roaming experimental threats
  • Survive using stealth, tools, and teamwork

It’s polished enough to be played and enjoyed, but still growing in scope, variety, and terror.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. The price will remain the same when we leave Early Access. We want everyone to have equal access to the full experience, whether they join on day one or at launch.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll be actively listening on X, Discord and Steam Discussions. We plan to:

  • Share detailed update logs
  • Run polls on new features and monster designs
  • Incorporate player-submitted theories and feedback
  • Host playtests to balance features
  • Respond quickly to bug reports and suggestions

You’re part of the Facility 37 cleanup crew from day one, and we take your survival very seriously.”

About This Game

Facility 37 is a first-person cooperative horror experience for 1–5 players, where survival means documenting the horrors left behind in a decommissioned research facility, and getting out alive.

A Mission Into Madness

You are part of a covert team deployed to investigate Facility 37, a government-funded site where biological experiments went terribly wrong.
The site has been abandoned, but something still stirs in the dark.

Your goal:

  • Recover evidence

  • Document anomalies

  • Extract alive

The deeper you go, the more you’ll question why this place was buried and why it was built in the first place.

Gameplay Features

1–5 Player Online Co-op

Join forces via Steam multiplayer and built-in voice chat. Work as a team to survive, but stay alert, noise attracts danger, and being separated can be deadly.

Investigation-Focused Objectives

You’re not here to shoot your way through. Instead, you'll:

  • Collect samples and corrupted audio logs

  • Document failed experiments

  • Complete a field report before escaping

Permanent Progression

Recovered cassette logs unlock permanent entries in your archive, slowly revealing the facility’s true story. These collectibles encourage exploration and reward those who survive.

Proximity Voice Chat

Your voice is your lifeline, and your biggest risk. Enemies respond to sound. Use radios and whispers wisely.

The job is simple on paper.
Recover proof. Stay quiet. Stay alive.
But no one leaves Facility 37 the same.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

This game contains scenes and themes intended for mature audiences. These include:

- Depictions of graphic violence, blood, and dismemberment

- Scenes of body horror and disturbing experiments

- Strong horror themes including confinement, psychological distress, and death

- Implied unethical human experimentation and biohazard exposure

- Occasional written logs or environmental storytelling referencing trauma, unethical research, and death

There is no sexual content, no nudity, no depictions of sexual assault, no drug or alcohol use, and no self-harm shown explicitly.
However, the atmosphere is intense and may be distressing for players sensitive to medical horror, captivity, or fear of being hunted.
