About This Game

The childhood game that ended friendships is back—and this time, your life depends on it.

Rogue Paper Scissors is an extraction deckbuilding roguelite that transforms the simple three-choice game into a deep tactical roguelike where every decision could be your last. Build your deck from nothing, merge cards into devastating hybrids, and face the ultimate question: extract your rewards safely, or risk everything for greater power?

🎯 Core Features:

Slot-Based RPS Combat

Three simultaneous battles decide each round. Predict your enemy's moves, counter their strategy, and watch your carefully laid plans crumble when they pull out a Shifting Scissor that swaps positions at the last second.

Trait System That Matters

  • Sneaky cards deal bonus damage on wins

  • Fixed cards stay in your hand between rounds

  • Homing cards return after victory

  • Shifting cards swap positions before reveals

  • Healing cards restore HP when they win

Hybrid Fusion Mechanics

Merge different card types to create game-breaking hybrids like:

  • Glass Guillotine: Deals double damage but shatters if it doesn't kill

  • Mirage Blade: Always draws but steals the enemy's traits

  • Eclipse Edge: Heals on wins, becomes fatigued on losses

The Extraction Gamble
Every few floors, face the ultimate decision: extract your loot and keep it forever, or push deeper for better rewards. Die without extracting? You lose almost everything. The tension is real.

Status Effects & Combos
Apply Bleed for persistent damage, Silence enemy traits, or build Shield to absorb hits. Master three-card combos for devastating effects that can turn impossible fights into crushing victories.

🎮 Why This Matters:

This isn't just "rock-paper-scissors with extra steps." Every card interaction creates genuine decision trees. Do you play your Homing Scissor now for guaranteed return, or save it for the final round? Can you afford to extract with mediocre loot, or should you risk Floor 12 for that game-changing hybrid?

The extraction system creates stakes that most roguelikes lack. Your progress isn't just about "getting further"—it's about knowing when you've pushed your luck far enough.
