Fire in the Fjords is a DLC for Victory At Sea Atlantic, expanding the game with four historical scenarios spanning the Norwegian campaign, the Mediterranean, and the Bay of Biscay, and adding new ship classes to both the Royal Navy and the Regia Marina.

Four Historical Scenarios

First Battle of Narvik – 10 April 1940. Five British destroyers push deep into a snow-covered Norwegian fjord to strike the German flotilla that has seized the port. The enemy has more ships, heavier guns, and the high ground. Attack anyway.

Second Battle of Narvik – 13 April 1940. HMS Warspite returns with a full destroyer screen to finish what started three days earlier. The surviving German destroyers are trapped in the fjord, but they will not go quietly.

Battle of Cape Passero – 12 October 1940. A British cruiser and destroyer force intercepts an Italian torpedo boat convoy in the dead of night off the coast of Sicily. Speed and surprise are everything.

Bay of Biscay – 28 December 1943. British cruisers hunt a German destroyer squadron in heavy weather while a Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor circles overhead, turning the hunters into the hunted.

New Ship Classes

Royal Navy: Emerald-class light cruisers; Town (Glasgow) cruiser; E&F, G&H, and Tribal-class destroyers.

Regia Marina: Spica-class torpedo boats; Soldati-class destroyers.

Shared classes: the Tribal, E&F, G&H, and Soldati-class destroyers also feature in Mare Nostrum. Own either pack and you'll have them in both.

All classes are available in the sandbox campaign alongside the base game's existing roster.
