“Soap is in early access to grow a community around the game and shape its future together. The core gameplay is solid, smooth, and fully playable with no known bugs — but there’s much more on the way. I'm planning regular seasonal content drops with new maps and game modes, along with features like online leaderboards, run replays, and quality-of-life improvements. Early access lets you jump in now, share feedback, and be part of the ride as the game evolves.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Soap is currently planned to come out of early access early next year. Until then, we’re continuing to shape the game based on ongoing feedback and collaboration with the community. Player input on maps, movement, and game mode ideas will remain a key part of development as we work to make Soap as deep, fun, and long lasting as possible.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more content over time — including maps, game modes, features, and polish — all shaped by community feedback. Early Access is just the beginning; our goal is to grow Soap into a deep and replayable experience based on what players enjoy most. We're aiming for regular updates, seasonal content drops, and the occasional surprise along the way.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Soap is fully playable, highly replayable, and runs smoothly with no known bugs. The core gameplay is fast, fun, and satisfying — offering a solid experience right out of the gate. While more content and features are planned to be on the way, what’s here now is polished and ready for hours of movement-based fun.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer a lower price during Early Access, with an increase at full release to reflect the added content and improvements. Players who join during Early Access will keep access to the full version and all future updates at no extra cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will be fully involved throughout development. I want Soap to be a true community game — come join the Discord to chat, share your gameplay experiences, and pitch ideas. Your feedback will directly shape new maps, features, and game modes as the game evolves.”

Welcome to Soap!
A high-energy, movement-based platformer and time trial — are you ready to get linked in?

The Objective:

Reach the golden record at the end of each map. Go for high scores or race for the fastest time!

Think of Soap maps like skatepark-style sandboxes. The golden record is placed in a challenging, hard-to-reach spot — so get a feel for the movement and the map before going all in.

Pro tip: Don’t stop moving! If you lose momentum, the link to the map breaks and you’ll need to respawn. Watch out for those sneaky angles that can kill your flow!

Hey everyone — I’m Decoy 
It’s been a dream of mine to make a movement-focused game ever since I grew up playing surf and KZ maps. With Soap, I wanted to capture that smooth, satisfying feel while creating something original and unique.

This is an early access version featuring the first 3 maps. The local points and timing system is ready — race against your best times or chase those high scores. Share your runs and let the community see what you can do!

I’ve got a ton of maps and features planned for full release, and early access will get regular updates, including:

  • Online leaderboards

  • Video recording for runs

  • Bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements

  • Seasonal content drops with new maps and game modes
