Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« Vulcard is a co-op deckbuilder all about exploring unique strategies and collaboration. While the game already contains a lot of cards and enemies, we want to involve the community to perfect existing strategies and shape new playstyles.
There are only few co-op deckbuilders and we are not aware of any that also uses time-based combat like Vulcard. This means that we are exploring new territory and makes it all the more importent to get feedback from the community to shape it into a successful game. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« At least 2 months, but it might take longer if there are additional features that the community requests »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« We intend to add more content to the game in the form of more cards, events, playable characters and encounters. Additionally, we plan to add a difficulty progression to challenge more experienced players while also making the game more accesible to players unfamiliar with deckbuilders. »

« Vulcard already offers a lot of replayability with 3 stages, 70+ different cards and more than 30 unique enemies.  »

« We don't plan to change the price. But if we end up adding much more content than planned the price might be increased. »

« We want to involve the community as much as possible. We plan to closely interact with the community through our discord server. »

Vulcard, the god of the volcano, is angry. As the two strongest warriors, your mission is to ascend the volcano and follow the ancient tradition to bring an offering to the god himself. In this two-player, time-based, roguelike deckbuilder, you have to collaborate to survive! Choose between different characters with distinct starting decks and unique abilities to fight your way up. Build your deck, meet curious characters, face countless enemies, experience intense boss fights and earn epic rewards! Can you return peace to the island?

Play locally on one couch, or online with a friend — you only need one copy of the game thanks to Steam Remote Play Together.

Can I play this game alone?

Yes. While the game is intended as a two player game, you can control both characters at once on the same keyboard.

What sets Vulcard apart from other roguelike deckbuilders?

Vulcard is to our knowledge the only roguelike deckbuilder that uses time based combat. This means that enemies don't just wait for you to end your turn and instead regularly attack you, forcing you to make quick decisions. This makes Vulcard a fast-paced and action packed card battling game.
