About This Game

Welcome to Line Hopper! In this unique game (the first 1st-person 2D platformer ever created), you get to see what a two-dimensional world composed of multicolored lines looks like from the perspective of the main character, Linus. Whereas you and I see our 3D world as a series of 2D images, Linus sees his 2D world in one dimension: as a single vertical line! Piecing together what is going on from his vantage point is challenging at first, but once you've gotten used to it, you'll be surprised how much you are able to see!

Black and purple lines represent every-day obstacles that you can walk on, jump off of, and slide against. Red lines are enemies, and the goal of each level is to reach the green line. When you reach a yellow line, you get to see the full level from a 2D perspective for as long as you remain in contact with it; otherwise, you and Linus are on your own!

Comes with a tool to create your own levels!

(A multiplayer mode for this game is currently under development.)
