Why Early Access?

“Feedback from the original Coin Factory helped shape Coin Factory 2, and we want to keep building it with the people who play it. Early Access gives us a chance to see the factories you create, learn which tile combinations are fun, and find where progression needs work. We want player feedback to help guide balancing, improvements to existing systems, and ideas for new tiles and challenges.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Early Access to last up to a year. This is an estimate, and may change as we work through player feedback and refine the game. We want to leave Early Access when the balance, progression, and overall experience feel ready.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to build on the existing factory-building game with more tile variety, refined balance and progression, and improvements to usability and presentation. We also want to expand the ways you can experiment with factories and create your own challenges using the existing level editor. The scope of these additions will develop with player feedback during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core factory-building game is playable. You can build production lines, move and collect coins, combine support tiles with machines, and spend your earnings on upgrades. The current version includes three main maps, a tutorial, a level editor, and gallery examples that demonstrate tile interactions. Balance, progression, usability, and performance are still being refined, and you may encounter bugs as development continues.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we add new content and features during Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We welcome bug reports, balance feedback, factory designs, and ideas for tiles and mechanics through our Discord community. We plan to share development updates there and use discussions with players to help decide what to improve next. You can also share ideas for challenges and maps made with the level editor. Player feedback will help shape the game, although we cannot include every suggestion.”
