About This Game

Go Kart Island is an open world, story-based karting game set on the fictional (if you can believe that) island called... Go Kart Island.

STORY

The island caught up in BIG RACE fever, where the participants compete to become GO KART CHAMPION.

Lachlan the highland cow arrives on the island full of hope to win the BIG RACE just like his dad did years ago. However the Mayor has an election campaign to fund and demands you raise 1,000 coins for an "entry fee" to partake in the race. Talk about a corrupt official. But just HOW can you raise such a ludicrous amount of coins?

Well, you're in luck! The inhabitants of Go Kart Island have no shortage of activities they would like you to partake in and they offer cold, hard cash as a reward. And all of them just happen to be mega fun, guaranteed!*

EVENTS

• What good is a karting game without races? Classic karting rules apply, use items to take out your opponents and reach the finish in 1st place. But watch out, some races require you to perform side objectives so not everything is a straight dash to the finish!
  
• Take part in time trials. The islanders are an impatient bunch and need your help to get to their destination as fast as possible. INEXPLICABLE obstacles tend to appear out of nowhere.
  
• Things are lost, and you have to track them down and run them over with your kart as fast as possible. Well, how else are you supposed to collect things? Slowly and with care? That would be stupid.
  
• Chase a target! Perhaps a stealthy pursuit where there is a some husband suspected of mouse cheating (mouse-dultery) and his wife wants you to follow him. Or an unstealeathy high speed chase to catch a CRIMINAL.
  
• Ah, how the turntables. Now you have to escape from someone chasing YOU. Perhaps the local karting gang, or the police?!
  
• A CRAZY event! You have to TAXI people around the island to deliver them to their destinations and rush to get the next fare.

EXPLORE

Every moment on Go Kart Island isn't taken up by taking part in some kind of wild event. There's a whole island to explore! From the mountain top, to the airport, to the lagoon there is much to see and do. Find coins, gems and smash the mayor's advertising boards as you take in the diverse scenery.

PLAY TIME

The story mode of this game has an expected play time of around 3-4 hours.

CHALLENGES

Aim for the gold trophy in over 80 challenges, including 68 races! Adding a twist and replayabilty to events from the main story mode.
