Monochromality

Monochromality is a multiplayer backrooms horror game, with 10+ levels that can be explored by yourself or in teams of up to 6 explorers. Evade threats, solve puzzles, experience memories and find a way to escape before something "unwarranted" finds you.

為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「The game is currently still under a lot of changes, and so it has a lot of things to be worked out and changed before the full release is made. We are needing Early Access so that we can know how well people feel about the early access version before the full release can be made.」

「The game will remain in early access until we manage to finish a full version release of the game, with improved graphics and better player mechanics/features for QOL.」

「The full game will feature more levels, better graphics, additional lore/secrets and overall refined gameplay experience for users...as compared to the early access version, which serves as a good starting point to ensure the game performs well prior to the full release.」

「A playable build is being worked on, and will be uploaded in the coming weeks so that initial insight can be given as to how player mechanics work and gameplay features perform.」

「Yes, early access will be cheaper than the full release...because it will have less content than the full release will have.」

「For constructive feedback based off components of the game such as quality of gameplay experience, difficulty or bugs of the game...and anything that could impact overall performance whilst playing the game.」

There exists a world filled with familiarity and uncertainty...you've just stumbled upon it.

Explore the strangely familiar complex of levels known as the backrooms, with each level you traverse being uniquely different from the last in not only appearance, but also atmosphere and strategy required to escape successfully. Having been made in Unreal Engine 5, these levels have all been designed with graphics that capture the essence of real life, creating liminality to the fullest in order to ensure effective immersion is met within the game. This gives players the opportunity to truly feel as if they are in the backrooms whilst progressing through the various dangers that lie ahead...

Why go alone, when you can journey through this terrifying complex in a team? Monochromality features multiplayer options that allows you to host games of up to 6 players, giving you and your friends the chance to explore these uncanny spaces together. Be warned, journeying through these dangerous levels will require you to take extra precautions in order to ensure the survival of the entire team...it's best not to get separated...you may never find each other again.

With up to 10+ levels having been re imagined based off popular backrooms lore, you will be able to come across a large number of levels...some you may already know, and some that have never been seen before! With future updates only adding on to the vast list of backrooms levels that players could no clip into...you'll quickly find that no two levels are ever the same.

With every level, comes it's own distinct residents. As you journey deeper, you'll find that there is a need to be on high alert, checking every corner to ensure that you won't be caught off guard by any one of the countless entities that roam the dark and desolate halls. Some of which, want nothing more than to rip you apart...God forbid you hear anything, because it most definitely heard you...
Every team needs to be able to effectively communicate with one another, especially in uncharted territory. You'll be able to speak directly with your teammates via the proximity voice chat! However, it's best to never not wander far away from your team, as you can easily get lost in the confusing expanse of the backrooms. Should you come across any danger, be sure to keep quiet...it may just save you and your teammates' lives...
