About This Content

Two Elder Primordials are drifting through the Void.

They're bored.

So they decide to play a card game.

That's it. That's the lore.

Arcane Titans is a TCG built around one thing: You should have something to do.

Build your deck from the creatures, spells, people, and assorted nonsense of Ardron, then figure out how to use it to ruin somebody else's day.

You don't have one deck. You have three.

Your Spell Deck holds your creatures, spells, and most of the horrible things you're planning.

Your Mana Deck holds exactly what you'd expect.

And your Sanity Deck? Those cards are always available. You can use one whenever you want.

They're some of the strongest cards in the game. I'm sure there's absolutely no downside to that.

At the start of your turn, you choose where your next card comes from.

Need mana? Draw mana. Need something to spend it on? Draw a spell.

No sitting there for six turns because your deck decided you weren't allowed to play today.

Mana isn't your only resource.

You also have Action Points.

Summoning, attacking, defending, drawing extra cards and plenty of other actions can use AP.

Some cards need Mana. Some need AP. Some need both.

So just because your opponent is out of Mana doesn't mean they're out of options.

It's like chess, but every piece might explode.

There's one Field slot.

Not one for you.

Not one for your opponent.

One.

Field cards affect the entire battlefield, and both players are fighting over the same space.

Want to replace your opponent's Field? Go ahead.

The question is how much you're willing to give up to do it.

Make something clever.

Make something stupid.

Find an interaction that has absolutely no business working,

then build an entire deck around making it happen again.

Reduce your opponent to 0 HP.

Piss them off.

Shuffle up.

Do it again.
