Unwanted Dungeon is a 2D survivorslike game with the depth of a classic RPG, blending roguelike elements (semi-procedural generation, permadeath) with the strategic progression of a roguelite (inventory and loot management).

Frenzied action inspired by Vampire Survivors meets the tactical depth of the original Diablo 1. Create unique builds, face hordes of monsters, and uncover the secrets of a living, treacherous dungeon.

Key Features

• RPG Elements – Skill trees with dual combat modes per class, dialogues with NPCs, deep character personalities and classes, skill points, and a diverse character building system that shifts your combat strategy.

• Semi-procedural Dungeons – Randomized rooms in every run, with chests, crypts, quests, and varied objectives (survival, exploration, bosses).

• Inventory & Economy – Equip rings, amulets, treasures, runes, scrolls with different rarity levels, trade in NPC shops, and store items between runs.

• Roguelike + Roguelite Fusion – Permadeath, unique runs, randomized power-ups, and permanent unlocks and upgrades for future adventures.

• Frenzied Combat – Face dozens hundreds of enemies on-screen with a mix of auto and active abilities. Each character build changes how you fight, explore, and replay the game with new gear and strategies.

Story & Characters

Corvalia was a peaceful haven until Abadiel, its most beloved mage, fell into darkness. His house collapsed, giving rise to a living dungeon filled with monsters and abominations. Now, driven by rage and a thirst for vengeance, everyday citizens confront the one who once protected them.

Choose your character:

• Rebecca, the Explorer – Driven by revenge after losing her wife in the cataclysm. Melee-focused, she can be a swordmaster or a steel-plated tank.

• Elias, the Hunter – A wandering merchant who sees the dungeon as a chance to make money. A long-range archer or a trap-based tactician with a unique playstyle.

• Aaron, the Scholar – Abadiel's naïve young apprentice with a strong sense of justice. Can be an arcanist with mid-range spells or a complex combo-based summoner.

Unlock two secret characters with unique mechanics, innovative gameplay, original stories, and distinct personalities: Andreas, the Faunomancer, and Elisha, the Occultist.

Dev Notes

The idea for Unwanted Dungeon came after a recent playthrough of the classic Diablo 1. Near the end of the game, fully geared and blasting groups of enemies while tanking Diablo himself, it suddenly felt like a survivorslike, and it was incredibly fun. But just when I was having the most fun… the credits rolled.

That was the moment I wondered: what if Diablo 1 had hordes of enemies, multiple classes, diverse spells, and more progression freedom?

— That’s how Unwanted Dungeon was born.
