What is mobOS?

mobOS is a nonlinear operating system and internet exploration game set in 2005. Once you start playing, the clock in game is tied to your actual computer's time and date, updating in game pages, forums, software, updates, and more throughout real life time depending on how you interact with them.

Explore an open ended and vast fictional internet full of forums, in-browser games, mysteries, downloadable software and music, desktop pets, viruses, and much more as it evolves and grows with you and your impact on it.

A Complete OS Experience

The primary environment for mobOS takes place on a faux-OS system that aims to be a complete, no corners cut experience. The operating system features a custom programming language and a custom scalable markup language for website and UI design. All applications that the game runs are written and compiled into executable files that the fake operating system is able to open and run.
