About This Demo

Relive the last day of Pompeii in this adventure puzzle game! Decipher Mercury’s message by helping the townspeople solve their mysterious problems and escape the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

In this Demo, play the first two missions in full, complete several side quests and collect the points of interest to learn more about daily life in ancient Rome.

Explore the faithfully recreated streets of Pompeii. Visit a Roman Domus, walk the Decumanus (the city’s main street) to meet Aristotle, and stop by the Caupona to help Ascula, the owner, calm her worried clients.

Discover the daily life of the Romans. Complete side quests across the Decumanus to reveal the story of its people and unlock all educational insights created by experts from Institut le Rosey.

Why Pompeii?

Although the eruption of Vesuvius destroyed the city in 79 AD and claimed many lives, it also preserved a part of Roman history for future generations.

Created by Institut Le Rosey

This collaborative project was initiated and guided by a Pompeii expert, with contributions from students from Institut le Rosey. They composed the original soundtrack and took part in the game design, visual development, and testing.

The game was fully funded by the Fondation le Rosey, which receives no profit from its sale. It is developed and published by DNA Studios.
