Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently estimate that Detective Bureau will remain in Early Access for about 6 to 8 months, but this may shift depending on development progress and community input.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We’re planning to expand the game over time, potentially adding more varied cases, richer AI-driven conversations, and additional tools to support complex investigations. We’re also exploring new systems to manage your detective work more efficiently, as well as improved accessibility options, language support, and replayable case structures. These goals may evolve based on player feedback and technical feasibility.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build includes several complete cases, live AI-powered voice interrogation, and a full gameplay loop: gather evidence, talk to individuals, and submit your final report. While there's still more we’d like to do, the current version is fully playable and already offers a unique detective experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to increase the price slightly once we leave Early Access to reflect the additional content and improvements added throughout development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll be listening actively through the Steam forums and reviews. Community feedback will help us shape future cases, refine dialogues and UI, and guide the introduction of new mechanics and features.”

Solve intricate cases by speaking directly to the people involved, and hear them respond, unscripted, through real-time generative AI. Each conversation is different, shaped by what you say and how you say it. Your job is to uncover the truth, one unpredictable exchange at a time and close the case by submitting a final report identifying the guilty party, their motives, and their means.
