What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Our game is built around a complex simulation of building, producing, and managing an underground empire from scratch. Early Access allows us to develop the game alongside a passionate community, refining mechanics, expanding systems, and balancing progression based on real player feedback. With your help, we can shape the future of this experience and turn it into something truly special.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the game to remain in Early Access for 12–18 months, depending on community feedback and development progress. Our priority is delivering a polished, content-rich full release without rushing key systems.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to :

More regions and areas to explore

Additional production chains and upgrades

Expanded economy and NPC behavior

Deeper story elements and missions

Full controller support and localization

Improved performance and visual polish

We also plan to implement modding support and co-op multiplayer if the community demands it.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes:

Core gameplay loop: produce, expand, and distribute

Base building and upgrade systems

Dynamic economy and AI interactions

Law enforcement mechanics and risk-reward dynamics

Rough but functional tutorial

There may be bugs, balancing issues, or incomplete features, but the foundation is playable and already highly addictive.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to gradually raise the price as we add more content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’re building this game with the community in mind. Feedback via Steam forums, Discord, and in-game reporting tools will directly influence balancing, new feature prioritization, and quality-of-life improvements. We want you to be part of shaping the game’s direction from day one.”

About This Game

MULERUN is a first-person crafting, farming, and business simulation game set on a mysterious tropical island in the 1980s.

After escaping a dangerous drug network, the CIA relocates you to a remote island under strict surveillance. A tracking bracelet on your ankle prevents you from traveling too far from the house they gave you.

You’re safe… but you’re also stuck.

With only a run-down shack, a few fruit trees, and some primitive tools, you must find a way to survive, produce, trade, and slowly build a business.

What begins with simple fruit juice production may grow into something far more ambitious.

If you’re clever enough.

Fruit trees, a rusty pickup, a dirt airstrip — and a little side business

the authorities would frown upon: you distill the best moonshine on the island.

Then one night, a black car stops in front of your house. The CIA knows

everything. Fifteen years in prison... or you fly for them. There is no

third option.

**Mulerun** is a first-person bootlegger simulator about building an illegal

liquor empire while serving two masters who must never learn about each other.

## DISTILL

Ferment fruit in barrels, run your still, bottle and cap your product.

Discover recipes from your grandfather's book — from honest Apple Jack to

concoctions that should probably be illegal for entirely different reasons.

Upgrade from a kitchen pot to serious hardware.

## DELIVER

Load your pickup and supply the island: the nightclub, street customers,

harbor orders. Watch your mirrors — the police patrol the roads, and a

trunk full of unlicensed liquor is hard to explain.

## FLY

Your battered plane is your greatest asset. Fly reconnaissance for the CIA:

under the radar, between patrol routes, camera loaded with the good film.

Later, other people will want your piloting skills too — and their cargo

pays much, much better. Mind the weight. The runway is only so long.

## RISK IT

Two employers. One suspicious island. Every job raises the stakes: border

inspections, tails you need to shake, evidence you need to scrub off your

plane. How long can you play both sides?

## TOGETHER

Play solo, or run the operation with up to **4 players in online co-op** —

one flies, one brews, one drives deliveries, one keeps the lights on.

Full controller support and Steam Deck in mind from day one.
